*Position can sit in the Mid Atlantic Area, Franklin Lakes, NJ or Work at Home* • 3+ years experience in account management where primary duties include being the client’s single point of accountability. • Working knowledge of the PBM industry • Working knowledge of how businesses operate • Contract negotiation experience • Excellent presentation skills • New business installation experience • Multi level client contacts • Ability to form strong, strategic client relationships • Proven ability to handle complex client issues and installations • Ability to think strategically and work independent from Director • Ability to perform all Account Manager’s job responsibilities • Excellent written and oral presentation skills • Strong organizational and multitasking skills • PBM experience strongly preferred or carrier experience with pharmacy as part of their duties • Bachelor’s Degree preferred Job Responsibilities : Medco Health Solutions, Inc., a leading pharmacy benefit manager with the nation's largest mail order-pharmacy operations, assists its customers to moderate the cost and enhance the quality of prescription drug benefits provided to members nationwide. On the Net: http://www.medco.com Overview • Full accountability for retention and growth of top Systemed clients. • Individually performs and manages every client installation and re-installation (no installation teams used). • Serves as primary client contact • Performs all of the functions noted in the Account Manager job description • Assists Account Managers with complex installations • Trains Account Managers in the new hire and ongoing training processes • Serve on cross-functional teams representing Account Management Service Model Delivery • Deliver complete service model for Top Accounts • Share AM Director role at Best and Final Presentations and client meetings • Manage/oversee complex installations • Manage issue resolution processes for installs and on going issues • Work independently to identify and capitalize on opportunities for client growth • Work with Director to up sell products –UM, Specialty, RationalMed etc. • Obtain Service References • Understand client’s contract & ensure that all contractual items are being delivered & that delivered services are being billed • Develop and execute renewal & pull through strategies • Prepare, execute and monitor results of client business plans Team Roles • Assist new hires as needed • Serve on special projects as assigned • Participate in work group projects • Internal Trainers on specific subject matter areas • Work effectively with internal Medco departments • Assist AMs with: Complex installations/reinstalls RFP responses General Information re: AM job • Identify and communicate to Director issues common to multiple AMs in our region –great ideas, issues • Regularly interact with other AEs to share best practices and communicate to AMs in their regions and Directors • Participate in groups evaluating Systemed and Medco interfaces with AM • Interview and recommend new hires for AM and AE position |
